Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President (VP) of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing teams and drive growth across our organization. The VP will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, enhances brand visibility, drives revenue growth, and fosters customer acquisition and retention. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and marketing, strong team management skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Marketing Strategy Development
- Develop and implement an integrated sales and marketing strategy that aligns with overall business goals and drives growth.
- Establish short- and long-term objectives for both the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with company targets and KPIs.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them, including expanding into new regions, segments, or verticals.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and empowering them to achieve peak performance.

- Revenue Growth and Client Acquisition
- Develop and oversee the execution of sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets and customer acquisition goals.
- Direct the sales team in building strong, long-term relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Lead efforts in developing pricing models, sales presentations, and proposals that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.
- Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies to ensure continuous growth.
- Marketing Campaigns and Brand Development
- Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, print, etc.) to increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
- Lead branding efforts to ensure consistency across all platforms and touchpoints, including marketing collateral, online presence, and external communications.
- Work closely with the product and creative teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and marketing messaging.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs), including lead generation, conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and ROI on marketing spend.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales and marketing performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with other departments, including product development, customer service, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to establish sales forecasting, budgeting, and compensation plans that drive performance and align with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and senior management to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and resource allocation.
- Customer Retention and Loyalty
- Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, ensuring long-term customer retention.
- Develop and implement customer feedback loops, surveys, and other engagement strategies to continuously improve products and services.
- Oversee post-sales support and service to ensure clients are receiving value from the company’s products or services.
- Innovation and Market Insights
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Drive innovation within the sales and marketing functions by adopting new technologies, tools, and best practices.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or executive role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies that drive growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performance teams.
- Expertise in both B2B and B2C sales strategies, including direct sales, digital marketing, and brand management.
- Strong understanding of data analytics and KPIs, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- A hands-on approach to leadership, willing to be involved in both high-level strategy and day-to-day operations.

- MBA or relevant advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in managing large-scale, multi-channel sales and marketing initiatives.
